Gather all your ingredients and equipment.

Drop one marble into the ball jar.

Pour cream into jars to about half way.

Place lids and rings on jars and tighten well.

Hand jars off to the minions and have them start to shake!

After a while you will get whipped cream! Add some sugar and place on your favorite dessert! We are doing butter so we need to keep going!

So my sons got tired of shaking so I dumped it all into my Kitchen Aid with the whisk. (Make sure you remove the marbles!)

Here you have buttermilk and your butter!

You need to remove the buttermilk by pouring through a sieve so you can use for biscuits or whatever you would use it for. The butter should look like scrambled eggs.

Jar up your buttermilk and place in the fridge.

Rinse your butter in cold water to remove all buttermilk. If you do not get it all out, it will go rancid.

Kneed your butter under cold water well.

Dry off the butter ball.

Make a well in the center and add salt and kneed until incorporated.

Place your butter ball in the center of a piece of parchment and wrap.

Place packet in fridge and use on some homemade bread!!
